In case you haven’t heard, Spruill will be transitioning to a new class registration system this fall! Beginning with our fall quarter classes, anyone who registers online for a Spruill program will do so through a new platform called Amilia SmartRec. (Anyone registering for Summer 2026 classes will continue to do so using the old platform).
Fall registration begins mid-August, so be sure to go ahead and create your account on this new platform (if you haven’t already) using the video tutorials on this webpage.
Reasons We Are Excited About Amilia:
Wish Lists: Streamline your registration process by adding classes to your “Wish List” on Amilia! This is helpful for two reasons:
- First, add classes you want to take to your wish list before registration opens so that you can quickly find and sign up for them as soon as registration begins.
- Second, your wish list can serve as a place to save classes you’re interested in but not sure about, keeping them organized in one place while you think it over!
Family Accounts: On Amilia, families can share one account! Amilia allows you to set up multiple user profiles on the same account and register each individual for their own classes, streamlining the registration process. When registering for a class, you’ll simply select the profile(s) of the individuals you want to register.
Cart Timer: Once you add a class to your cart, Amilia will save your spot in that class for 25 minutes while you complete the check-out process. Amilia will display a timer on your screen, letting you now just how much time you have left to complete the transaction. (Here’s another time-saving tip: You can even save your payment method to your Amilia Wallet ahead of time to save time during checkout!)
Amilia Tutorials:
We’ve compiled a few tutorials to help you learn how to use Amilia! You’ll be able to purchase a membership starting August 7 and create a Wish List starting August 10. Registration functions will open later this month (see registration schedule below).
Dates and Information to Know:
August 10: Fall classes will be available to browse on Amilia so you can begin planning your schedule and creating your Wish List.
August 17-24: Fall Registration Opens
- August 17 (9 AM): Members-only wheel ceramics registration begins
- August 18 (9 AM): Members-only handbuilding and mosaics registration begins
- August 19 (9 AM): Members-only registration for all other mediums begins
- August 24 (9 AM): General registration for all classes opens
