With a BA in Pictorial Arts and a Teaching Credential from UCLA, Sharon Weiss works in a variety of painting and drawing media and has been teaching painting and drawing classes since 2003. She began teaching adult Saturday workshops while pursuing a full time corporate career in health care information technology. She retired from her I.T. position in 2016 and now teaches both adult and teen art classes.

Sharon's work has appeared in in several juried group shows, with some paintings winning awards. Her paintings are also in many private collections throughout the country.
